Delhi High Court Seeks Response of HRD and Jamia Millia University on VC’s Appointment - (28 Jan 2020)

Delhi High Court has sought the response of the Centre and Jamia Millia Islamia University on a plea challenging the appointment of the current Vice-Chancellor (VC), Najma Akhtar. The Court has issued a notice to the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Central Vigilance Commission, University Grants Commission, Jamia and Akhtar seeking their stand on the Petition.
