Supreme Court Rejects Plea of Nirbhaya Case Convict - (21 Jan 2020)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has rejected the Plea of Pawan Gupta, one of the four convicts in Nirbhaya case, claiming that he was a juvenile at the time of the offence. The Court said that it was too late to overcome the findings of the Trial Court, the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court that he was a major at the time of the crime.
