Nirbhaya Case: Delhi High Court Remarks that Litigants Exploiting System - (16 Jan 2020)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court has remarked at the strategy adopted by the death row convicts in the Nirbhaya Case. The Court pointed out that the litigants had two and a half years to file Curative Petitions and Mercy Pleas when the Supreme Court dismissed the Criminal Appeals in 2017, and the Litigants were simply exploiting the system by delaying the Execution Orders.
