Supreme Court Partially Lifts Ban on Construction Activities in Delhi-NCR - (10 Dec 2019)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court has allowed construction activity in the Delhi-NCR region between 6am and 6pm, partially lifting its complete ban on it. The Court was informed by Additional Solicitor-General that the Centre has constituted a high-level committee following the Apex Court's direction to examine the feasibility of using technology like smog towers to combat air pollution.
