Gujarat High Court Waives Six Month Cooling Period for Divorce - (28 Dec 2015)

Gujarat High Court, in order to enable the wife to remarry and move abroad, has waived the mandatory six-month cooling period, which the law mandates to explore the possibility of reconciliation after filing of a divorce petition and before issuing a divorce decree.
