NGT: No Error in Granting Clearance for Akshardham Expansion - (28 Nov 2019)

ENVIRONMENT

National Green Tribunal has held that there was no error in the grant of environmental clearance granted for the expansion of Akshardham Temple as it does not fall under the Yamuna floodplains. The Tribunal held that the project proponent was not liable to pay any compensation.
