ITAT Mumbai : Period of Holding Calculated from Original Date of Acquisition of Property - (20 Nov 2019)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai has ruled that period of holding the asset has to be computed not from the date when Memorandum of Understanding was cancelled in the year 2004 but from the original date of acquisition of property.
