NGT Explains Abandoned Mines Cannot be Used for Dumping Waste - (25 Oct 2019)

ENVIRONMENT

National Green Tribunal has refused a plea moved by the three civic bodies seeking direction to allow the use of Bhatti Mines for dumping of garbage. The Court observed that abandoned mines need to be closed and cannot be allowed to be used for dumping of any material.
