P & H High Court Directs Railway to Give Rs. 8 Lakh to Family of Man Killed After Falling from Train - (29 Aug 2019)

CIVIL

Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed Railway to pay Rs 8 lakh to the heirs of the victim of an ‘Untoward Railway Incident’ as compensation along with 9 percent interest per annum despite non-recovery of a valid ticket.
