Supreme Court Issues Notice to Centre on Plea Examining Legality of New Triple Talaq Law - (23 Aug 2019)

Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Central Government seeking its reply on the new law that makes "Triple Talaq" a punishable offense. The Court observed that the same will be examined by them.
