SC: Jurisdiction of Civil Court Cannot be Taken Away Entirely Despite Bar if Error is Pleaded - (21 Aug 2019)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has observed that the jurisdiction of the civil courts cannot be entirely taken away inspite of a bar either expressly or impliedly. The Court noted that the civil courts shall have jurisdiction to examine a matter in which there is an allegation of non-compliance of the provisions of the statute or any of the important principles of judicial procedure.
