Gujarat High Court Commutes Death Sentence to 25 Years in Prison for Rapist-Killer - (07 Aug 2019)

CRIMINAL

Gujarat High Court has commuted the death sentence of a man named Dinesh Vasava to 25-years in prison for raping an eight-year-old girl and throwing her in a well in 2014 in Aravalli district. The direction came from the Court which clarified that the man would not be able to avail the benefit of remission during his jail term.
