Lok Sabha Passes Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill, 2019 - (25 Jul 2019)

Lok Sabha has passed a bill namely the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill, 2019 to amend an anti-terror law aimed at allowing the Government to designate “an individual as a terrorist” with Home Minister Amit Shah asserting this is of “prime importance” to “nip terrorism” in the bud.
