Madras High Court Suspends Vaiko’s Sentence - (19 Jul 2019)

CRIMINAL

Madras High Court has suspended the one-year sentence imposed by a lower court in a sedition case against Rajya Sabha member Vaiko after recording his lawyer’s submission that he would be advised not to make any speeches touching upon the sovereignty of the nation until the disposal of his appeal against the conviction.
