Supreme Court Dismisses Urgent Hearing on Plea Against States Over Lynchings - (18 Jul 2019)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has rejected an urgent hearing on a plea seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against some States for their alleged failure in curbing incidents of lynching. The Court said there was no urgency to hear the contempt plea.
