Rajya Sabha Passes Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2019 - (02 Jul 2019)

CONSTITUTION

Rajya Sabha has passed the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2019, as a result of which the President’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir has been extended. The Bill also provides three per cent reservation for people in the State living near the international border.
