Karnataka High Court Reprimands Police for Arresting Man for Posts Against HDK, Family - (27 Jun 2019)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court has reprimanded the State police for “high-handedness’ in arresting a person for posting “defamatory” comments on social media against JD(S) leaders Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy (HDK), his father and son, by registering a second criminal case after the accused man got anticipatory bail from the lower Court in the first case registered on the same set of facts.
