ITAT Kolkata: Delay in Filing TDS Due to Sudden Resignation of Accountant Will be Condoned - (25 Jun 2019)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Kolkata bench has observed that the delay in filing of Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) return due to the sudden resignation of the Assessees accountant would constitute ‘sufficient cause’ for such default.
