Madras HC to Centre: Bring Heritage Law to Protect Ancient Structures - (11 Dec 2015)

Madras HC while taking a suo motu PIL proceedings initiated after media reports highlighting improper 'renovation' works being undertaken by Tamil Nadu Government authorities, resulting in damage to idols and heritage temples, has directed Centre to bring heritage law to protect them.
