Delhi High Court Acquits Man Convicted for Demanding Rs 250 Bribe - (10 Jun 2019)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court has acquitted a former Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) official twenty eight years after he was booked on charges of demanding a bribe of Rs 250. The Court while setting aside a lower court judgement of February 28, 2002 in which he had been convicted for allegedly demanding the bribe for releasing a cow.
