Uttarakhand High Court: Grandchildren from Daughter Will Not be Denied Advantages of Welfare Scheme - (07 Jun 2019)

Uttarakhand High Court has noted that grandchildren from a daughter of a freedom fighter cannot be denied the advantages of welfare schemes available to family of a freedom fighter. The Court held that daughter, granddaughter or grandson born to a daughter of a freedom fighter cannot be discriminated against on the basis of gender.
