ITAT: Salary Paid to Employees of University Not Subject to TDS - (23 May 2019)

DIRECT TAXATION

ITAT Cochin has ruled that the salary paid to the employees of the Concerned University would not be subject to Tax Deduction at Source ( TDS ) as the University can be deemed as a ‘State’.
