Supreme Court: No SC/ST Reservation in Higher Judiciary - (08 Dec 2015)

Supreme Court while rejecting a plea of a district-level judge from Uttarakhand who sought to be promoted as a high court judge, has refused to provide reservation for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes in the higher judiciary.
