Supreme Court: Persons Named in FIR, But not Charge-sheeted can be Summoned Even at Stage Of Protest - (16 May 2019)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has noted that a lower court can summon under Section 319 of the Criminal Procedure Code,1973 those persons named in FIR, but who were not charge-sheeted, even if the stage of giving opportunity to the complainant to file a protest petition is over.
