Madras HC Quashes Land Acquisition Proceedings for Chennai-Salem Expressway - (23 Apr 2019)

Madras High Court has quashed land acquisition proceedings initiated by Centre as well as State Government for ambitious Rs. 10,000 crore Chennai-Salem eight-lane greenfield expressway project proposed on a stretch of 277 km passing through agricultural as well as reserve forest land.
