States can Impose Restrictions to Consider Remission Claims: SC - (23 Apr 2019)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has upheld constitutional validity of Rule 8(2)(i) of the Rajasthan Prisons (Shortening of Sentences) Rules, 2006 and also said that states can impose restrictions to consider remission claims.
