Madras HC Stays Rs. 100 Crore Penalty by NGT on TN Govt. for Failure to Restore Chennai’s Waterways - (10 Apr 2019)

Madras High Court has passed an interim stay on Rs. 100 crore penalty imposed by National Green Tribunal (NGT) on state, for failing to restore Chennai's waterways – the Adyar, the Cooum and the Buckingham Canal.
