BJP Leader Files Petition in Supreme Court to Declare Political Parties as 'Public Authority' Under RTI - (07 Apr 2019)

Ashwini Upadhyay further said that the power of EC to allot election symbols to parties for their recognition and can suspend or withdraw it in violation of the MCC was indicative of their public character.
