CRIMINAL - Magistrate Can't Release Seized Vehicle, Once Confiscation Proceedings Under Forest Act Initiated:SC - (27 Mar 2019)

Supreme Court has held that a Magistrate has no jurisdiction under Section 451 of the Criminal Procedure to release a seized vehicle, once the Authorised Officer initiated confiscation proceedings.
