INSURANCE - SC: Disease Caused due to Insect Bite in the Natural Course of Events Not Covered Under 'Accident' - (27 Mar 2019)

Supreme Court has observed that where a disease is caused or transmitted by insect bite/virus in the natural course of events, it would not be covered by the definition of an ‘accident’ referred in insurance policy.
