Delhi High Court Judge Recuses Himself From Hearing Lobbyist Deepak Talwar's Plea - (11 Mar 2019)

Justice Siddharth Mridul, who was heading the bench, also comprising Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri, recused from hearing the matter without assigning any reason. In his habeas corpus plea, Deepak Talwar has claimed that his arrest and custody from January 30 onwards was illegal detention. He has alleged that his fundamental rights were violated by the authorities.
