Proof Of Grievous Hurt Not Necessary for Conviction Under Section 307 IPC: SC - (05 Feb 2019)

Supreme Court has observed that proof of grievous or life-threatening hurt is not a sine qua non for the offence under Section 307 [Attempt to Murder] of the Indian Penal Code.
