Environment vs Employment: Anger, Suspicion Run Wild in Thoothukudi Amid Wait for Sterlite Order - (30 Jan 2019)

The top court will hear the Tamil Nadu government’s petition challenging the NGT order on Sterlite in the coming days. This is the last ditch effort by the government to ensure the closure of the copper smelter in Thoothukudi.
