No Sales Tax to be Levied on Medicines and Surgical Tools Used in Medical Procedures: Kerala HC - (21 Jan 2019)

Kerala High Court has ruled that medicines, implants and other materials used during procedures at hospitals do not constitute sale of goods, and hence, sales tax cannot be levied on these.
