Orissa High Court Cancels Death Penalty of Tantrik in Murder Case - (23 Nov 2015)

Orissa High Court has set aside death penalty for sacrificing an eight-year-old boy as a religious offering five years ago and acquitted the accused, a 30-year-old tantrik of Jajpur district, stating that there was lack of convincing evidence in the case.
