Benefit of Doubt Must Go to Accused: Supreme Court - (19 Dec 2018)

Supreme Court has held in a recent case of 7-year-old case of murder and rioting in Uttar Pradesh that the benefit of doubt in cases based on a flawed police investigation must favour the accused irrespective of the gravity of the crime.
