Public Authority Under Obligation to Get Info from Pvt Body and Share with RTI Applicant: Delhi HC - (07 Dec 2018)

Delhi High Court has held that if a public authority is entitled to access information from a private body under any other law, it is “information” as defined in Section 2 (f) of RTI Act and public authority is under obligation to get information from private body and furnish it to RTI applicant.
