Govt Confirms 'Extensive Consultations' With RBI Amid Rift, Silent on Invoking Never-used Powers - (31 Oct 2018)

A statement by the government said "the autonomy for the central bank, within the framework of the RBI Act, is an essential and accepted governance requirement. Government of India has nurtured and respected this."
