Food Safety Violations Can Be Prosecuted Under IPC As Well, Holds Supreme Court - (21 Sep 2018)

Supreme Court has held that Food Safety Officers can lodge complaints alleging offences under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code against the persons transporting, stocking and/or selling the prohibited goods.
