Madras HC: In Cross Cases, Trial in Main Case and Counter case Should be Conducted by Same Judge - (02 Nov 2015)

Madras HC has held that if police is unable to pin down aggressor in murder case in which accused too had sustained grievous injuries and choose to file 2 separate charge sheets, then trial in main case and counter case should be conducted one after other by same judge before pronouncing judgements.
