Punjab and Haryana HC Rejects Miner’s PLea on Contract Term - (02 Nov 2015)

Punjab and Haryana HC has rejected plea of mining lease holders from Haryana that period of mining contract should commence after obtaining environment clearance. The HC has asked them to pay the balance lease amount with interest as per the lease agreements between them and State Government.
