Supreme Court: Appointment of Surveyor by Insurer is Not Waiver of Condition Relating to Intimation - (22 Aug 2018)

Supreme Court has held that insurer is not estopped from raising a plea of violation of the condition relating to delay in intimation warranting a repudiation of the claim, merely because it appointed a surveyor to assess the loss.
