Supreme Court: Oral Evidence of Production of Contraband Won’t Suffice for Conviction in NDPS Case - (17 Aug 2018)

Supreme Court has said that oral evidence adducing that the contraband was produced before the magistrate cannot form the basis to record the conviction under NDPS Act, in the absence of order of magistrate to that effect.
