Families of ‘Fake Encounter’ Victims in Assam Welcome SC Notices to Centre, State Govt - (15 Aug 2018)

Alleging that ‘fake encounters’ are a common occurrence in the district, Jeorge Islary, a villager in Auxiguri said security personnel who indulge in such acts do it for the sake of ‘promotion’.
