Supreme Court: Ad-Hoc Appointments Are Not Contractual - (14 Aug 2018)

Supreme Court has said that although temporary, ad-hoc & contractual appointments are used in contradiction to a regular & permanent appointment but between ad-hoc appointment & contract appointment, distinction is there in service jurisprudence & both the expressions cannot be used interchangeably.
