Centre Shoots Down TN Govt's Plea on Premature Release for Rajiv Gandhi's Assassins - (13 Aug 2018)

Rejecting the plea, the Centre, in its compliance affidavit before the Supreme Court, said the 1991 assassination of Rajiv Gandhi brought the Indian democratic process to a grinding halt.
