Lok Sabha Passes Amendments to SC/ST Act - (07 Aug 2018)

Lok Sabha has unanimously passed the SC/ST amendment Bill which nullifies requirements imposed by Supreme Court of undertaking preliminary inquiry and of procuring approval prior to making an arrest.
