Calcutta HC: Rehabilitation of Trafficking Victim Not Dependent on Pace of Investigation/ Trial - (02 Jul 2018)

Calcutta High Court has directed State to pay compensation to a child trafficking survivor, rejecting State’s assertion that she was not entitled to same because the twin conditions, of accused not having been identified and the trial not having commenced, were not satisfied.
