Gujarat HC Calls Ordinance for Delaying Civic Body Polls ‘Unconstitutional’ - (21 Oct 2015)

Gujarat High Court has said that an ordinance or executive order by Gujarat Government, meant to delay civic body polls in the state, is unconstitutional. The court has ordered the state Election Commission to start electoral process immediately.
