Supreme Court: Under Excise Act Measure of Levy Won’t be Controlled by Its Nature - (23 May 2018)

Supreme Court has held that the measure of levy contemplated in Section 4 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 will not be controlled by the nature of the levy.
